VTION & the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023

VTION is committed to protecting your personal data and complying with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025.
This page explains your rights, how you can exercise them, and how VTION ensures your data is handled responsibly and securely.

Your Rights Under DPDPA

As a Data Principal (user), you have the right to:
  1. Access
    • Request details of personal data processed by us.
  2. Correction & Update
    • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  3. Data Erasure (Deletion)
    • Ask us to delete your personal data, unless retention is required by law.
  4. Withdraw Consent
    • You can withdraw your consent for data processing at any time, with the same ease as it was given.
  5. Grievance Redressal
    • Raise concerns or complaints related to your data.
  6. Nomination
    • Nominate a trusted person to exercise your rights in case of incapacity.
We will respond to all valid user requests within 7 working days.

How to Submit a Rights Request

Please include:
  • Your registered mobile number
  • Right you wish to exercise
  • Any additional information to help us verify your identity
We may seek identity verification to ensure data safety.

Consent Withdrawal

If you wish to stop sharing data or opt-out of the panel:

Once withdrawal is confirmed:
  • Data collection will stop
  • You may no longer be eligible for rewards
  • We will delete data no longer required by law or agreements

Data Retention & Deletion

  • Personal data is retained only for the duration required for research, rewards settlement, and legal requirements.
  • Logs are retained for minimum 12 months as per DPDPA.
  • When retention purpose ends, we will delete the data and notify you 48 hours before automated deletion, where applicable.

Security & Protection of Your Data

We use strong security controls including:
  • Encryption in transit and at rest
  • Access control and authentication
  • Secure servers located in India
  • Continuous monitoring and audits

Data Breach Communication

If any incident compromises your personal data:
  • We will notify you promptly via registered communication channels
  • And inform the Data Protection Board of India

Age Eligibility

The VTION Digital App and panel are strictly for users aged 18 or above.
We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
