1.1 This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how Vidhi Techinnovation Opportunities Network Private Limited collects and processes your Personal Data (defined below) through your use of our website (https://www.vtion.in/) (“Website”) and/or, VTION Digital Application, and/or VTION Audience Meter Application, and/or any other digital application that is made available by VTION for download on mobile and connected devices (collectively “Apps”) The Website and the Apps are hereinafter collectively referred to as “Platforms”.

2. Definitions

2.1 “Panellists” means users of VTION Digital Application that voluntarily onboard themselves on the VTION Digital Application to provide their Personal Data for behavioural analysis in exchange for rewards like digital wallet cashbacks and other benefits.
2.2. “Personal Data” means any data about an individual who is identifiable by or in relation to such data;
2.3. “Third Parties” means and included third-party vendors and/or third party processors engaged by VTion during the course of its business and/or visitors to the Website.

3.1. This Privacy Policy applies to Vidhi Techinnovation Opportunities Network Private Limited (“VTION”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

5.1. This Privacy Policy applies to everyone who visits and/or uses our Website and/or the Apps, including Panellists and/or Third Parties (“collectively referred to as “Users”, “you”). This Privacy Policy does not extend to any websites or applications that may be accessed from the Website and/or Apps including, but not limited to any links we may provide to any other websites or applications.
5.2. We follow this Privacy Policy in accordance with the applicable laws, including but not limited to the (Indian) Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. For some products, applications, services, or events, we may have additional privacy notices. These notices should be read together with this Privacy Policy.
5.3. By using our Platforms, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing your use of our Platforms and in particular agree to adhere to your duties under the (Indian) Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. 5.4. All undefined terms used in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning assigned to them in the Terms of Use.

6. Personal Data We Collect From You

6.1. We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of Personal Data about you including the below mentioned, which we have grouped together as follows:
6.1.1 Personal Data collected from Website visitors including prospective customers

  5. Interests in services offered by VTION
6.1.2. Personal Data collected from Panellists
  1. Age, gender, socio – economic category, educational qualifications;
  2. Mobile phone number;
  3. Digital Wallet number;
  4. Socio – economic category derived on the basis of educational qualification and white goods ownership data, information on the main wage earner in your household, known languages;
  5. Data collected through cookies, make and model of device used, network information;
  6. Information about how you use our Platforms, services, list of applications installed on the device, usage behaviour on the above applications, audio, video OTT and e-commerce app usage details;
  7. Information regarding advertisements viewed by you on social applications;
  8. Information about the city from where you use our Platforms.
  9. Additional profile information
6.2. We also collect, use, and share aggregated insights, for analytics purposes. Aggregated insights are made up of information from many people, but it cannot be used to identify any one individual. For example, we might use aggregated insights to calculate the percentage of Users who visit a certain part of our Website.

7. How We Collect Your Personal Data

7.1. We use different methods to collect Personal Data from and about you including through:

Direct interaction: Information provided to us directly by you, such as your identity, contact, and financial data, including information shared when signing up to our email communication, filling in the contact us form on our Website, registering on our Apps, attending our events, and visiting our offices.

  4. Software Development Kit: Personal Data collected through software development kit (“SDKs”) used in our Platforms or are integrated on any VTION-approved third party applications.

8. Grounds For Collecting Your Personal Data

8.1. We will only collect and use your Personal Data when the applicable law allows us to. We will most commonly collect your Personal Data:
  1. When you give us consent to do so; or
  2. When you provide us with Personal Data for a specific purpose, such as to participate in our surveys, or to subscribe to any communication from us; or
  3. When we need to comply with a legal obligation; or
  4. For any other legitimate reason that is allowed by applicable law.

9. Purposes For Which We Collect Your Personal Data

  1. To register you as a visitor when you browse our Website and voluntarily provide your information via our Contact Us page.
  2. To register you as a member on our Apps, and for authentication;
  3. To deliver the functionalities of the Apps, resolve technical difficulties, and provide you with the correct (prevent the transmission of spam, viruses and/or unlawful, defamatory, obscene or otherwise undesirable material or content) and most up to date version of the Website and/or Apps;
  4. To support our Platforms’ features and functionalities provided through the SDKs. This includes, for instance, providing customer, technical and operational support for these features, detecting and protecting against errors, fraud, or other illegal activity; resolving disputes and enforcing our legal terms and other rights we may have;
  5. To support features and functionalities of our Platforms that have been integrated into VTION-approved third party applications through SDKs;
  6. To remit incentives to you;
  7. To analyse the VTION Digital App usage on your device as part of an opt-in market research panel and data management platform (“DMP”) based monetization;
  8. To deliver relevant content and advertisements to you and measure or understand the effectiveness of the advertisements served to you;
  9. To comply with applicable laws;
  10. To communicate with you in relation to our surveys, payments, events via different channels, for example, by phone or email;
  11. For research purposes in an anonymized manner, and/or at an aggregated level, in summary reports and analyses;
  12. For third party advertising purposes;
  13. To ensure safety of the Website and/or Apps.

10. Change In Purpose

10.1. We will only use your Personal Data for the purposes for which we collected it. If we need to use your Personal Data for another purpose, we will tell you about it and explain why we are doing it. We may also ask for your permission, depending on the applicable laws.
10.2. Please note that we may process your Personal Data without your consent or knowledge where this is required or permitted by applicable laws.

  1. DMP for research, monetization or otherwise;
  2. Google’s marketing platform for targeted advertisement;
  3. Our clients as part of our business model;
  4. Our third party service providers in the course of our business;
  5. Professional advisers including lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers to enable them to provide the professional services that they render to us;
  6. Government bodies, regulators and other authorities who require reporting of processing activities and in certain circumstances compliance with any legal obligations or to meet any law enforcement requirements; and / or;
  7. Third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer or merge parts of our business or our assets as part of that transaction, but only as the applicable laws may permit, including investors or potential investors;
  8. Affiliates (e.g., our subsidiaries and / or group companies).
11.2. In any case, we require all third parties to respect the security of your Personal Data and to treat it in accordance with the applicable laws. 14. Storage And Retention of Your Data

14.1. All the Personal Data provided by you will be uploaded to secure servers in India that are controlled by us. We may also use third party processors to store Personal Data collected from you.
14.2. VTION treats all Personal Data it receives from you as confidential and does not use the Personal Data for any purpose other than in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We have security measures in place to protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
14.3. We regularly review our security measures to make sure they are keeping your Personal Data safe. However, no security measures are perfect.
14.4. We will only retain your Personal Data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements. We may retain your Personal Data for a longer period in the event of a complaint or if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation in respect to our relationship with you.

16.1. Under the (Indian) Digital Personal Data Protection Act. 2023, you have the following rights:
(a) Right to access information: You can ask us for the following information:

  2. What we do with your Personal Data.
  3. Who we share your Personal Data with.
  4. What Personal Data we have shared with other organizations.
(b) Right to correction, completion, and erasure: You have the right to ask us to correct, complete, or erase your Personal Data. This means that you can ask us to:

  3. Delete your Personal Data.

(f) Right to withdraw consent: You can withdraw your consent to us processing your Personal Data at any time. We will stop processing your Personal Data once you withdraw your consent. However, withdrawing your consent will not affect any processing that we did before you withdrew your consent.
